  • Usage Data: Which videos are watched, search history, and device type.
  • Location: We use IP addresses to provide local content (e.g., Mogadishu-specific content).

  • We do not store your mobile money PINs. All transactions via EVC Plus, Waafi, or Sahal are handled through encrypted gateways provided by the telecommunications companies.
  • Payout information for creators is stored securely and never shared with third parties.

       We use cookies to remember login sessions and to serve relevant content.

  1. Data Sharing

         We do not sell Somali user data to foreign marketing firms. Data is only shared:

  • To comply with a legal request from the National Communications Authority (NCA) of Somalia.
  • To protect the security and integrity of the platform.

 

      New features of our platform

         To stay safe in the Somali market, we added the following features

  1. Report Button: Allow the community to flag "Haram" or "Inciting" content immediately.
  2. Age Gate: For certain categories, require users to confirm they are 18+.
  3. Local Storage Notice: Since data is expensive in Somalia, we included a setting in your app that allows users to "Lower Video Quality" to save their data bundles.

       Since we operate mainly In Somalia, we fully comply with the National Communications Authority (NCA) that regulates Somali digital media.
