2. Payment Information Security
- We do not store your mobile money PINs. All transactions via EVC Plus, Waafi, or Sahal are handled through encrypted gateways provided by the telecommunications companies.
- Payout information for creators is stored securely and never shared with third parties.
3. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies to remember login sessions and to serve relevant content.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell Somali user data to foreign marketing firms. Data is only shared:
- To comply with a legal request from the National Communications Authority (NCA) of Somalia.
- To protect the security and integrity of the platform.
New features of our platform
To stay safe in the Somali market, we added the following features
- Report Button: Allow the community to flag "Haram" or "Inciting" content immediately.
- Age Gate: For certain categories, require users to confirm they are 18+.
- Local Storage Notice: Since data is expensive in Somalia, we included a setting in your app that allows users to "Lower Video Quality" to save their data bundles.
